At Learning Seat, we’re all about being the best; the best courses, the best technology, the best in instructional design, the best learning management systems and the best people.
When it came to seeking out new ownership in 2012, we approached only companies that shared with us a strong set of values and a view to invest heavily in our staff and our product. We found two in particular who fell in love with Learning Seat and our plans for the future. As of November 1, 2012 the new owners of Learning Seat are The Wingate Group and The Riverside Company.
The Wingate Group is a private investment and advisory firm specialising in private equity, finance and property while The Riverside Company is one of the world’s largest private equity firms with experience in the eLearning space. Both are fantastic companies and are absolutely the right people to be the custodians of our great business into the future.
With this in mind, our new management has pushed forward in creating new roles and a structure that allows our people and our business to continually grow while sustaining optimal quality and customer service for our clients. Our team is now the largest it has ever been and spans across departments such as digital design, instructional design, technology, commercial, finance and human resources.
The Board comprises of 12 representatives from our private investment companies, management, and impartial members to drive, develop and guide the future of Learning Seat.
