Code of conduct for the queensland public service


The public service is under increasing pressure to demonstrate transparency and accountability. Yet policies or procedures often provide workers with little information about how to demonstrate this behaviour.

This course aims to introduce public servants to the Code of Conduct for the Queensland Public Service (the Code) and provide them with a greater understanding of how they are expected to carry themselves. It will also give them an appreciation and understanding of the ethical demands placed upon them.

The behavioural standards in this course align with the Queensland Public Sector Capability and Leadership Framework.
