Christmas is fast approaching, and it's hard to believe that 2018 is near its end. It's been a tumultuous year on many fronts and one that we at Litmos can look back on with some pride.
2018 will be remembered for many things. Scott Morrison joined the revolving door of Prime Ministers to become our sixth in eleven years. The world held its breath when tensions arose between the US and North Korea. Acts of terrorism became more commonplace in Australia and around the world. On a happy note, we were inspired when the twelve Wild Boars soccer team and their coach were rescued from a Chiang Mai cave and we all tuned in to watch Harry and Meghan get married.
In the world of work, the topic of organisational culture was on everybody’s lips. Fanned by news coming from the Royal Commission in Financial Services and the stories of those empowered by the Me Too Movement, each conversation I have had with CEO's and senior executives always ended up on the topic of workplace culture.
For Litmos, it's been an amazing year. Shortly after our acquisition by Callidus Cloud, we became part of SAP. 2018 was our biggest growth year and we welcomed more new customers than we have ever during our eighteen years of history. We have maintained the highest level of staff retention. Our new Learning Management System is applauded every time we demonstrate it. We launched our new refresher suite, Top-Ups. I thought our Adaptive and Top-Ups refresher solutions were the most innovative compliance training programs I had seen. However, last week, Adaptive Suite Australia won a Brandon Hall gold award for excellence in the Best Advance in Learning Management Technology for Compliance Training category. You can read all about it here!
Our products continue to lead the market in addressing issues in organisational culture and poor behaviour.
I take this opportunity to thank our partners, customers and most importantly, our staff for contributing to our success in 2018. Our staff have faced significant change and upheaval and throughout the year but remained focused on supporting our customers and delivering world class products and services. Well done to all of you.
So, we anticipate an exciting year ahead, and really hope that yours is as well. To our customers, partners, friends and colleagues, I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.
