OUR EXECUTIVE TEAM
Philip has 15 years' executive experience in education and training. Over the last 9 years, Philip has focused on online training and product development, where he was Director of Melbourne-based organisation C-Learning, before it was acquired by Learning Seat in 2015. Philip has a high level executive management, consulting, project manager and coaching skills and has an excellent understanding of online delivery and its application to the workplace.
Rick joined Learning Seat in 2013 as General Manager – Operations. During Rick’s career, his experience has spanned across a variety of roles in broad areas such as Product Management, Software Development, Business Consulting, Project Management and General Business Management. Prior to joining Learning Seat, Rick was a founder of a start-up software development company which developed a document workflow product which continues to be used by many large Australian organisations.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
Ed was appointed as Chief Financial Officer at Learning Seat in 2016, having first started with the company in 2010. Originally from the UK he first cut his financial teeth and qualified as an accountant working on the factory floor at Jaguar and Land Rover where he learnt not only the importance of sound financial management but the value that a strong compliance culture delivers to business. Before joining Learning Seat, Ed also spent four successful years in the digital media industry in Sydney. All up he has 14 years of financial experience which has given him a truly global and multi-industry outlook.
HEAD OF LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE
Lindsay brings 9 years’ experience as an employment lawyer to Learning Seat, having been engaged as a private practice lawyer in large, commercial firms, prior to making the transition to Head of Legal and Compliance at Learning Seat. Lindsay is admitted to practise as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria and in the Supreme Court of England & Wales. Lindsay regularly advises public and private organisations and their legal obligations, risk exposure and compliance strategies, understanding the importance of balancing these with commercial considerations. She has a particular passion for discrimination law, and the role of compliance in creating healthy, thriving businesses.
