July 2019 Course Release: Learning Seat Compliance
New this month
New law, new courses! Find out if these recent legislation changes affect training needs for your organisation.
One course covers the very hot topic of whistleblowing in the private sector, with new laws coming in this month. The second course offers legally-compliant training about the chain of responsibility, following a legislative change in late 2018.
Chain of Responsibility (AU) 1.0
Any time you or your organisation send or receive goods using a heavy vehicle, you become part of the Chain of Responsibility under the Heavy Vehicle National Legislation. This course builds a general understanding of the legislation, legal responsibilities and how to prevent breaches from occurring.
Whistleblower Awareness for the Private Sector (AU) 1.0
This course outlines the rights and responsibilities of whistleblowers within the private sector. It follows changes to legislation that provide greater protections to private sector whistleblowers.
These courses are responsive, which means workers can do their training from anywhere, on any device. The content conforms to Level AA Accessibility guidelines – so everyone can access their training. Find out more about these courses in the July release notes.

Annual updates to our courses start... now!
We’ve reviewed and updated our Cybersecurity courses. Good news for our public sector clients, we’ve also catered for those learners who need to be aware of state-based privacy legislation when completing these three topics:
- Cybersecurity Incidents - General Awareness (AU) 3.0
- Cybersecurity Incidents - How to Respond (AU) 2.0
- Cybersecurity Incidents - Management and Obligations (AU) 2.0
We’ve also refreshed our existing core compliance suites to ensure your learners are getting the most up-to-date content, starting with three of our foundation suites, this month.
Compliance Essentials Australia Suite
Presented in a traditional eLearning format, Compliance Essentials features authentic, relatable workplace scenarios, delivered in mobile responsive design, with courses taking around 20 minutes to complete.
Law at Work Suite (AU)
Endorsed by Lander & Rogers, Law at Work uses video-based storytelling to encourage decision making and foster behavioural change. With a responsive, scrollable design, Law at Work suits workplaces wanting relatable stories and legally compliant content delivered in an innovative way.
The SAFE Files Suite (AU)
Endorsed by Lander & Rogers, The SAFE Files uses a graphic novel design and a detective narrative to achieve meaningful behaviour change. With a responsive, scrollable design, the suite uses plain language and a story-based approach to engage learners and improve knowledge retention. The suite appeals to younger workers and learners with language and literacy limitations.
Courses available in each of the above suites are:
- Anti-discrimination and Equal Opportunity
- Electronic Communication and Social Media
- Privacy (Private Sector)
- Sexual Harassment in the Workplace
