We’re now in the home stretch of ending support for Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 at Learning Seat. All of our Learning Management System (LMS) Administrators will be receiving another notification, but we’ve already seen a significant consecutive drop in usage again for March.
Companies and users are moving away from Internet Explorer 8 in droves because of the security issues as well as the legacy issues when trying to support applications. Most modern cloud-based applications experience significant issues when trying to render in Internet Explorer 8. A great example is Salesforce – the largest cloud-based CRM service in the world – ending Internet Explorer 8 support in June 2015.
